Terms of Service
Last updated: 14 July 2026
1. About the service
Classy Canteen is a campus canteen ordering and delivery service operated by [BUSINESS NAME] (“we”, “us”, or “our”). The service allows members of the campus community to browse menus, place food orders ahead of time or during live ordering windows, and have those orders delivered to a building and room on campus. By creating an account or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”).
2. Eligibility
The service is intended for members of the campus community, including staff, students, patients, and visitors located within buildings served by our delivery network. We may restrict or refuse access to the service at our discretion, including where an order cannot be delivered to a supported building.
3. Accounts and sign-in
Access to the service requires signing in with a Google account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account and for all activity that occurs through your Classy Canteen account. Please notify us immediately at [EMAIL] if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
4. Ordering
Menus are organized into meal windows. Depending on the meal window, you may order ahead of time or order live while the window is open. Each meal window has an order-close time, after which no new orders or changes can be made for that window. It is your responsibility to place orders before the relevant cutoff.
Prices for each item are shown at checkout and reflect the final amount due. All orders are paid for by cash on delivery (“COD”) — we do not process online or card payments through the service. Please have the exact or reasonably close amount ready for the delivery staff at the time of delivery.
5. Cancellations
You may cancel an order free of charge at any time before the order-close time of the relevant meal window. Orders cannot be cancelled once the window has closed and preparation has begun. See our Refund Policy for details on issues with delivered orders.
6. Conduct
You agree to use the service honestly and respectfully, including providing accurate delivery information, being reasonably available to receive deliveries, and treating delivery staff courteously. Repeated refusal of orders without valid reason, abusive behavior toward staff, or attempts to defraud the service may result in suspension or termination of your account.
7. Limitation of liability
We work to ensure orders are prepared and delivered accurately and on time, but delays or errors can occur due to factors such as kitchen volume, building access, or delivery logistics. To the fullest extent permitted by law, [BUSINESS NAME] is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount paid for that order.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the service or applicable law. We will post the updated Terms with a new “Last updated” date, and continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
9. Contact us
Questions about these Terms can be directed to [BUSINESS NAME] at [EMAIL], [PHONE], or [ADDRESS].
